Dr D. Anthony Harvey is an independent psychologist whose university research has explored early-onset dementia, autism, unilateral neglect and errorless learning in stroke rehabilitation, as well as the effects of age, output monitoring, and executive function in prospective memory.
Before entering academia he worked as a mechanic and automatic transmissions specialist technician in London. This background in complex mechanical systems later influenced his approach to understanding how the brain and mind interact.
He later completed formal studies in psychology and conducted the above research, presenting his work at international conferences.
Over more than three decades he developed the Tetra Theory of Mind Design, a constructionist framework proposing that mental activity is dynamically constructed rather than stored in the brain.
The Origin Of Mind - Tetra Project represents the first public presentation of this theory and aims to stimulate discussion across psychology, neuroscience, philosophy of mind, and cognitive science.
